In 2023, the Philadelphia Phillies were coming off an incredible post-season playoff run, clinching the National League Champion title, but not achieving the coveted title of World Series Champion, led to a clear attitude change. The Philadelphia Phillies had unfinished business. This was not defeat, this was ambition. The Fightins were back. An unstoppable force, in motion, fightin’ for more.
20nine helped the Philadelphia Phillies in evolving the branding for the 2023 season, creating a visual theme that captured the team's ferocity and focus. Our season campaign embraced the themes of emerging from the shadows into the light, with game faces on and a readiness for battle. From concept to execution, I helped 20nine to ideate and execute the 2023 season visual system, robust brand guidelines, launch campaign, and marketing materials, in addition to providing ongoing creative support.
We produced a cohesive launch campaign with impactful out-of-home assets taking over the city to energize the fan base. A City Hall takeover, Septa bus wraps, and digital billboards reinforced the message across town, while high-energy player pole banners surrounded Citizens Bank Park. Digital and social media templates allowed their internal team to seamlessly celebrate the team's energy and iconic brand across all digital and print media.
